Beijing Looking East: ‘Holy-Grail’ time-lapse

ARVE Error: The [[arve]] shortcode needs one of this attributes av1mp4, mp4, m4v, webm, ogv, url

This is the view from the ABC (Australian) Beijing News Bureau where I worked for three years. It was our ‘live cross’ position. When the ABC moved into this building over 30 years ago, it was one of the tallest in Beijing and all you could see were fields. Now there will be several new megastructures built towards the back left of this view (behind the CCTV building) and they’ll be finished before you can blink. Crazy city, I miss it.

This ‘Holy-Grail’ time-lapse (so called as a long day to night time-lapse used to be incredibly difficult to achieve) was shot with Magic Lantern’s Auto ETTR setting and processed in Adobe Bridge with Davos Milligan’s Adobe Bridge de-flickering script.
