Here’s a quick video I shot with my daughters Maya and Layla. I wanted to test out the new iPhone 6S Plus’ 4k video. It was all shot hand held with no stabilisation rigs, using the native camera app.
The main thing I was looking looking to test was how well the optical image stabilisation worked. It’s hard to compare as I didn’t do like for like tests, but it’s certainly head and shoulders better than my three-year-old iPhone 5 camera.
This was edited in a 4k timeline in FCPX and exported to 1080p HD. Please note the slow motion stuff at the end was captured at 240fps at 720p (a limitation of the phone). Enjoy!
